The Sarah Bennett Bossa Trio performs a range of numbers from the Latin repertoire sung in Brazilian Portuguese, English and French, contemporary jazz pieces and standards from the Great American Songbook.

The trio line-up consists of Sarah on vocals, guitar and drums/percussion and the quartet adds a bass or a second guitar.

In 2007 the trio line-up performed at the Nantwich, Cheltenham, Southport and Marlborough jazz festivals.

In 2008 the band is performing at the Stables in Wavendon (the venue owned by John Dankworth and Cleo Laine), The National Portrait Gallery and the National Theatre  in London and is supporting Norma Winstone and Nikki Iles at the Four Four Time Buxton Jazz Festival.
